Rosbank suspends US dollar, euro, dirham transactions

MOSCOW, Dec 16 (PRIME) -- Rosbank has suspended transactions in the U.S. dollars, euros and United Arab Emirate (UAE) dirhams, the bank said in a statement on Friday, a day after the U.S. blacklisted it.

"In this situation, we have suspended transactions in the U.S. dollars, euros and dirhams or affecting the U.S. and E.U. jurisdictions in any other way, since we cannot offer a route guaranteeing client funds' security against blocks by the foreign correspondent banks," Rosbank said.
